Shaleen village is located at the distance of about 8 kms. jeepable road from Kaniyal Road (about 2 kms before the Manali town if coming from Kullu town)  and about 6 kms on foot from a place near Alu Ground at Kullu-Manali national highway. Geographic coordinates of village Shaleen are 77o 10' 46" East and 32o 11' 44" North. From Shimla its distance is about 257 kms., from Chandigarh – 310 kms. and from Delhi – 541 kms. Nearest air port is Bhuntar.
